Greetings fellow diners!
Laurie and I are now knee deep in fresh produce thanks to our local CSA. I hear you asking, “Hey, just what is a CSA anyway?” CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Sounds good, huh? Well it is! It supports local farming and puts fresh food on your doorstep every week during the growing seasons.
I have placed a category here that will be a great resource for you whenever you receive fresh produce. Since it’s now early summer you’ll probably be getting into a lot of leafy greens; kale, lettuce, swiss chard, mustard greens and so on. I have placed two links below to get your own ideas going. I also recommend that you purchase or borrow the book ‘Greene On Greens‘ by Bert Greene. It’s a fun book to read and it’s loaded with great recipes! Drop me a comment if you have questions or, well, comments – thanks. ENJOY! ~TH~
